them. It might sound bad but what they do isn’t right ether. ISIS I think has the capability to start another world war and I don’t want that to happen. We need to stop them ASAP or we are going to be in a lot of trouble. My position on this is radical. 9: Standardized testing in Pennsylvania is becoming a local problem because Chester County wants to get rid of the keystones. I agree with them to get rid of standardized testing because it really doesn 't show how well the students learn. In a lot of the classes they are changing the curriculum so when kids can pass the keystones instead of teaching them things they might need to know for life. It 's just so wrong the teachers have to change or get rid of important things in the class just …show more content…
When parents abuse their kids they usually grow up to be the same way as their parents. I believe that there should be a program made for kids and parents, the program would help the parents by teaching them not to use violence to discipline their kids and teach them another way to discipline them. As with the kids they should learn that it is wrong how their parents are treating them. Because a lot of these kids suffer not just at home because of it they get bullied at school which makes the life very hard. We need to work as a community and a nation to make this better for these kids. My position on this is …show more content…
I tend to agree with the democratic believe that we are greater together rather than working on our own, that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, and everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays but the same rules. That is a very big issue for me. 13: Voting for the Judge of the Court of Common Pleas: Julia Malloy-Good and Allison Bell Royer. I would vote for Julia Malloy-Good. I read as her background that she has been involved in Family court issues for 31 years and also has been the only person voted as “Qualified” by the Chester County Bar Association. I feel that her experience might tie well into issues of Domestic violence and sexual abuse.
14: County Commissioner- Kathi Cozzone, Bill Scott, Terence Farrell, Michelle Kichline running. Out of this lineup I would choose Kathi Cozzone because she stated in 2012 that her priority was to help with the underemployed and to create policies that would produce jobs and help Chester County in this area. She also has been managing large budgets for several companies which would help in keeping the county budget in check. I would also vote for Terence Farrell who has been doing a great job with his 2 terms as county commissioner. I liked that he has brought the 20th century to the County Records department and he strongly believes that we can meet the states fiscal challenges that have been handed down without jeopardizing

We really put so much focus on getting Bruce’s history of working as a county commissioner in Guilford County for eight years. Because we had this message guiding are campaign we focused on particular issues that Bruce truly cared about and that he had dealt with as an elected official. Education was an issue that we discussed heavily in are literature and in Bruce’s speeches for the public. This was meant to reach independent voter’s and our core democratic voter’s. We framed education as a key issue that effects everything in a community, lack of education can lead to economic issues and lack of job growth.…

With a growing number of schools are doing what public urging, abandoning test attracts a lot of enthusias all over the world. Even the country, which always implements exam-oriented education, China is no exception. In 2007, a Test Forbidding Crisis had swept Chengdu, Sichuan to stop the increasing burdens from testing. Folsom's an AMAZING city, but we’re not on course to remain the city we all love, a city truly “Distinctive by Nature” instead; we’re shifting to a city “Distinctive by Development” We're in jeopardy of losing the defining characteristics that make us such a beautiful place to live. Unbeknownst to many, outside influences have crept into Folsom politics, affecting crucial decisions.…

In the county which I live here in North Carolina, we will soon be facing primaries for the county sheriff, the current Sheriff has held the position 2014, during that time there has been much controversy surrounding the man. His supporters choose to make excuses for his actions; county officials have chosen to overlook some of his misconducts, his staff is afraid of him. Recently the sheriff’s office was handed the responsibility of running our local animal control facility. The number of euthanized animals in our shelter are horrendous, despite the Sheriff’s office taking control, the numbers have not decreased, at a forum I attended today with all three of the candidates trying to get on the ticket, the issue of animal control was brought…

Instead of taking field trips, students will be practicing analogies and test taking skills. Literature will not be read intensively, but will instead be skimmed for the main points in order to answer the critical reading questions.…
