Louise and Tom Spradley were happily married with one three-year old child named Bruce. In 1964, Louise got pregnant to their second child. While she was pregnant with the baby, her son Bruce got sick with the German measles. In her desperation, she took him to the Doctor. The Doctor then explained her that if she were to be pregnant, the baby would have congenital defects due to the rubella. Within the next few days she started to get a rash in her arm. Therefore, the baby had more chances of having abnormalities and defects. Months later, baby Lynn was born. She seemed perfectly okay and like a normal child at that early age.
