There are a great deal of people that think assault weapons should be banned, solely on the believe that the firearm has an increased risk of being used for mass shooting, Or because they are the same as a machine gun. Opposed to the believes of many they are not. The assault weapons that are available to the public are semi automatic an only fire one shot per pull of the trigger. A big factor that people do not consider when talking about gun-related deaths is suicides, and actually most of the gun related death are suicides. There are twice as many suicides on America from by guns as there are homicides. “30,000”people have been killed with guns, but what is not said is that “20,000” of those kills have been by their own hands, and not from those of a murderer.
