Community Healthcare Family Assessment
Establishment of Rapport I met the H family just recently, as my dear old grandmother had received new neighbors. Before this project, I had only brief interactions with this family. As I visit my grandma quite often, I found the neighbors are always willing to help her out. With time, I approached them about this project, and they agreed to help me out. Three total visits were conducted to receive all the information necessary. Data was collected by different styled questions and listening techniques; I used pencil and paper to record initial responses. Throughout our visits, I enjoyed meeting these wonderful people and foresee making their house a regular stop each time I visit my grandmother.

Family Characteristics The H family is made up of two young adult boys who have roots in Germany. Levi is 23 years old and his brother Jared is 22 years of age. As previously mentioned, they recently moved to a house in the country to get more privacy of their own. They both reported feeling comfortable in the pay scales they are in and work about 40 hours per week. Since graduating college and obtaining their degrees, they both purchased trucks of their own and developed their own phone plan. They split the monthly rent evenly, as well as utilities. Groceries and household items are shared, and they said they try to take turn buying items as needed; they keep a list on the fridge of things they need at all times, and it is to be erased when bought or received. Aside from the basics, they money is not shared, but Levi and Jared say they like the system they are using at home and it fits them well. It seems they are faring well for it being new to them to pay bills and live
