Benjamin Franklin was born January 17, 1706 in the biggest town in the U.S. colonies Boston Massachusetts . Benjamin was the eighth child out of ten in the Franklin family. When Benjamin was about seven years old when he learned a lesson when it came to money. When Benjamin was seven he got a half pence coin for as Christmas gift. Once he got the coin he went to a the toy store and met some kid that just bought a whistle. Benjamin payed the kid his half pence coin for the whistle. But later Benjamin learned from his father that Benjamin payed four times more for the whistle that what it was at the store. Benjamin was brilliant since a young age. Bradford son Andrew lived in Pennsylvania and had his own printing shop there. So Bradford told Benjamin to go to Philadelphia and ask if his son need an apprentice. Since Benjamin had nothing to lose he moved on and went to Philadelphia. When he got there there was no job opportunity with Andrew. Luckily Benjamin met another printer by the name of Samuel Keimer. Samuel put Franklin to work right away. After a while working there with Samuel, Benjamin realized that he's a better printer than Samuel and later quit. The governor of Pennsylvania found out that Benjamin was having trouble finding a printer job, then offer to buy Benjamin a shop of his own. The governor told Benjamin that he had to go to England to buy the supply. The governor said said that he would pay for Benjamin's trip to England and back also for all the supply he need. The governor told Benjamin that when he gets on the boat there will be money waiting for him, but when he got on the boat there was no money. The governor was lying to Benjamin Franklin the
