Growing up, Jackie Robinson lived in a family of 5 children, he and his family were the only black family on the Block. His dad left when he was very young, he ran off with the neighbors wife. He became very athletic, he was good at all sports. Baseball wasn’t his best though, football was. His sister got a medal. In 1946 He married Rachel Isum, and they had 3 kids. One of his sons was killed coming home from a Drug rehab center, that he worked at.
