A Boring Day Research Paper

Yesterday started out as a normal Tuesday. I woke up and got ready for school just like any other day. It was a boring day at school just like it always is. We go to each class period with the same blank expressions on our face with no intentions of changing them. When the final bell rings to leave school I get in my car and drive home. This day felt like it lasted forever even though it was just like any other day. When I got home I went straight to my room and started on my homework. I am pretty sure that the teachers all plan to give us as much homework as they can at the same time. It seems like if one teacher gives us homework they all decide to give us some. I did not know why it felt so different when I woke up today. I decided to just carry on with getting ready that maybe it was just me being sleep deprived. When I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth I could not believe my eyes! There on my back just like they had been there since I was born were two gorgeous wings. I had no idea where they came from or how I ended up with them. At first I thought it might have been a joke my parents were playing on me. However, I soon realized that my parents had already left for work and that I was all alone with these wings. I did not know what to do with them. I figured I would try to use them to fly but there was one problem with that, I had no idea how to use them! I was worried that I was going to end up not being able to do anything ever again because who wants to hang out with a kid who has wings? I knew it would be best to not go to school today since I had the wings. Instead I went outside and tried to figure out how to operate them.
