The real differences between the actions of male and female partygoers in the Hills Section occurred during the second observational period that occurred from eleven in the evening to two in the morning of the following day. During this time period thirty-seven females were seen to be walking away from the parties that they cam from, which had moved indoors for the night time parade day festivities. However, the combination of these factors can culminate into a viscous storm that could lead to predatory behavior. The realization of this potential danger is consistent with the data obtained. Female University of Scranton students seemed to be much more under control upon leaving these parties. College societal standards have told females that they cannot let their guard down with regard to sexual assault. These same ridiculous standards have told men that they can get wildly out of control and generally not worry about the consequences of being sexually victimized. This inequality is something that is so inherent in the college culture that it commonly goes unquestioned and is generally accepted.
