A and W Root Beer is one of the best soda’s that was ever made in history.

America’s favorite A and W Root Beer was made 1919 in Lodi in California one

day when it was really hot by Roy Allen. After Roy sold his first Root Beer that

day A and W was born. After Roy first success he opened a second stand in

Sacramento.After he opened the second stand Allen opened two more at Northern

and Central California then two more at Texas and Utah.”By 1993 the creamy

beverage was such a success that there were over 170 franchised outlets operating
