On september 11th one of america's greatest tragedies took place in New york. This horrible event caused chaos and fear in thousands of lives and the entire nation felt this monumental impact. This took a toll on Americans every day life because they had to now question every move they made.Before this event Americans thought they were invincible but they now realize that we are not safe as we thought we were once were. 911 changed America's views on their security and we never truly were the same after this event. This attack was a terrible lesson for all people and politicians and it has shown that in the global world all people are in danger and nobody is truly safe. Hundreds of thousands of tons of toxic debris containing more than 2,500 contaminants, including known carcinogens, were spread across Lower Manhattan due to the collapse of the Twin Towers. Due to all the fumes and debris it caused several deaths. There is also scientific speculation that exposure to various toxic products in the air may have affected fetal development this caused women who were pregnant during WTC collapse and we're living or working nearby. There is a noble children's environment health care center which is currently analyzing the children whose mothers we're pregnant during this collapse. I study shows that due to the debris and talk since it may have affected the children's lungs. Shortly after this time legal disputes over the cost of illness illness related to the attacks were still in the court system on October 17, 2006 a federal judge rejected New York's city refusal to pay for the health cost for rescue workers allowing for the possibility of numerous suits against the city. Shortly after this time the United States Congress passed the James L Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act on December 22,2010 and shortly after that president Barack Obama signed the act on January 2, 2011.
