The Music in the 90’s was booming. Bands like Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, No doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers , and The Presidents of the United States of America. These bands were a highlight in the 90’s. They were an advancement in music history. Today these bands are still very popular and listened to by many. I am one of them. They put rock and pop on the map forever. This music also created a high watermark for how good things used to be. The band, The Presidents of the United States of America is a band that sings for fun and to give people humor. Their top song would be feather plucking. It has references of rock humor and dad humor.

People would dress up in many colors, but the biggest fashion trend was blue jeans and a t-shirt. Piercings and tattoos was big in the 90’s too. They were a symbol of the new generation. Piercings were also a way to symbolize who you are. To be different from everyone else. Piercings became very popular and many people wanted them for that reason too. The way you cute your hair became very big too. Some of the biggest hair styles were buzz cuts, pixie cuts, and what was called the “Rachel haircut”. The Rachel haircut was inspired by a fictional character from the tv show friends. People from the 90’s liked to experiment with their fashion at that time, so the trends would change frequently. One thing that remained popular throughout the decade was flannels. The goth trend hit the highest it's ever been.
