Signing up for Orion was opening up the door to a new challenge that I have never experienced before. I have never gone hiking, let alone backpacking, nevertheless I gave the experience my all and what I got back from it was exponential.

Somedays already feel like the six mile hike on day three, steep and uncountable switchbacks, scorching heat, and that there is no end in sight. But just when I may feel at my lowest, I somehow still manage to overcome the challenges that I am faced with and still manage to find that beautiful view. Where would we be in life if we did not face challenges head on and give all of our effort to finish them to completion? Each day in college I am faced with a new and sometimes unexpected challenge, but it is up to me how I decide to approach it, and I decide to approach challenges the way in which I did my challenges during Orion: head-on and

If I had to describe The Avengers as either a group or a team, I would label us as a team. The level of cooperation, diversity of skills, group identity, as well as time and resources all play a part in coming to this decision. Teams have higher cooperation than groups, members with more diverse skills, a stronger identity than a group, and they take up more time and resources. We did build true teamwork. Our team had a very high level of cooperation.…

Teamwork was an essential skill semester in order to complete and get the best grade possible in FYO-00108 Assignment 3, our group project. This is the first project that has required the co-operation of a large group of people – prior to this, my university experience of teamwork has been limited to pairs, e.g. lab partners and speaking pairs for language oral assessments. For our team to work together successfully, it was necessary for all members to contribute. Overall, I believe this was done with great success.
