Have you ever noticed how society believes that being stick skinny is beautiful? Many people think that having a little bit of meat one their bones isn’t attractive. Bodies come in all different shapes and sizes. Obesity is when a person is way overweight. Some people have even made it into what is considered “The 900 Club” because their weight has exceeded over 900 pounds. Dimensions Magazine has made a list of 28 different people who have mad this club, and have discussed what they have gone through. This excessive weight can be from many different biological and environmental causes that can be seen in trends or found in similar situations. One noticeable trend is the infliction of weight. Numerous amounts of people have sought out help to lose weight, but after they get help they soon gain it right back. For instance, David Ron High was said to have shed nearly 400 pounds of weight by eating healthier and reducing to eating only one meal a day. Michael Habranko had worked extremely hard to shed weight, but when a disease struck him he was unable to moved and quickly gained back over 150 pounds in water weight. Living an unhealthy and obese lifestyle often comes with difficult living conditions. Being obese makes it really hard to be healthy, and many people develop health issue, or need surgery. Again, Michael Habranko had to have surgery to remove fat tissue and excess skin. After that surgery he developed an infections that caused his body tissue to die. Being over weight caused him to have to go through many medical procedures. Also, Carol Yager was said to have died from kidney failure caused by her obesity. Many of these people have to deal with tough conditions in their everyday lives due to
