When I wrote my post, I was looking at the price discrimination of movie theaters as a negative for people that work normal business hours of 9-5. I didn't give any thought to the fixed income senior citizens that benefit by going to matinee at a low cost. Each individual will look at this scenario differently, this is probably a very debatable subject. I still feel that if movie theaters were to charge the lower cost for all times and ages, that they would recoup this in concession stand sales. Do you agree with this statement? There are some movie theaters out there that do this already, it is the chain movie theaters that charge the higher prices.
