On the morning of September 11th 2001 one of the largest tragedies the United States of America ever faced occurred. Terrorists would rain hell down onto the civilians of this great country with the only intentions being to cause panic. 19 Islamics who worked with Al-Qaeda took over several American planes("9/11 Attacks."). Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center. One plane crashed into the pentagon and the last crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. About 3,000 American lives were lost that day. Lots of these were from the towers collapsing and all the firefighters and police that got caught in the rouble. 9/11 was a tragic event for many Americans, lots lost their lives.This brought many changes to America and also drove us into fighting

If America had replaced the World Trade Centers, it would have cost over $3.5 billion. The replacement cost for the Pentagon would have been up to $1 billion. Now just the property and infrastructure would have cost around $12 billion. The direct job losses were up to 83,000, with about $17 billion in lost wages. Almost 3,000 Americans died in the attacks.
