The wind blew open the windows. Conan heard a thump as his bedroom door opened. It was a rainy day, one of the worst storms that Conan and his dad, Billy, had experienced, was happening in France. As Billy came in to wake up Conan the thunder got louder and scarier. Conan woke up to the sight of his dad crying and rested in bed for a while, puzzled, at what was happening. His dad told him that the church was in shambles where they had been doing most of their labor for the past six months. Conan and his dad were poor. They both worked as laborers and builders for the nearby church everyday for six hours. It was almost done, before the storm hit. Conan realized this meant he had to miss school for another year to help his dad provide for his small family. Conan woke up early the next morning. The storm has passed and the town being repaired from the violent curse that had kept Conan from being at school. One day at work, the leader of the church had told them that because of the violent church there would …show more content…
It was time for bed. The had made a destructive chair and the nun was most likely dead. They had murdered her. When sleeping a giant scream got louder as then nun crashed through the roof again going back to the exact same spot. Conan ran down watching her as her breathing got softer and she fixed her gown. Conan called his dad and the both went to her. She explained how she went to one of the best furniture stores in Italy and that she had bought a soft cushion for the chair. This was magic. The nun knew she was on that trip long enough to know it was not fake and that she would like to buy the chairs. Conan and his dad both knew that if they sold the chairs they would never have to work again. They called leader and negotiated. The nuns had a lot of money and they were not afraid to use it. All the nuns came and tested them out before the opened their wallets. They started low at two million euros but slowly climbed up to fifty
