“Everyone stay down!” said the chief police officer, Larry. A group of wanted robbers were trying to break into the Cobble Welt Bank and a police officer in training, Sam, was stationed right in front of the Bank exit. This was one of his first big missions and the other police officers put him here so could shut the gate if he wanted to, thinking it would be an easy first job for Sam. Although, Sam lacks self-confidence and is worried that by trapping the robbers in they will come back later in life to get revenge.

“Boom!” A huge building across the street from the coffee shop had just erupted in flames from a gas leak. “WHAT!” screamed Bill. “Get me out of here” one person said as they ran away from the coffee shop. Sam got closer to scene, but not too close to where he could harm himself. “We’re three people short! What are we going to do?” asked a firefighter. Sam knew this was his calling. What were the chances of the building right across the street from him bursting out in flames? He was meant to help. “I can help!” Sam yelled. “I heard you say you were low firefighters.”. “But you’re not trained. You can’t possibly help us.” said one exasperated firefighter. “If we don’t have enough people won’t be able to get out. We need him.” said a man who looked like the fire chief. “Let’s get him suited up immediately.”. Sam quickly got dressed into his heavy firefighter outfit and followed a firefighter into the flaming building. Even with the firefighting outfit on, the building felt like a blazing oven. “Try to stay behind if you can, but if you lose me, try to retrace our old path so you can get before this building falls over.” said the firefighter Sam was following. “Let’s force open this door right here.”. Sam and the firefighter barged open a door covered by fallen bricks. CRACK. A huge ton of bricks feel upon the firefighter Sam was following. “AHHHH” screamed the firefighter. “Sam don’t help me. You have to go on.”. “I can’t leave you back here!” yelled Sam. “I’ll help you!”. Sam pulled the firefighter brick by brick. He was badly injured with looked like a broken bone. Sam led the firefighter out of the building and dived straight back into the fire after that. He ended up saving eight wounded people that day, more than any of the firefighters did, and everyone out of the deadly fire, harmed or not, they still
