On September 11, 2001 the United States experienced one of the worst tragedies in history. The 9/11 tragedy happened in New York City. On the morning of September 11, 2001 a terrorist hijacked four planes at the Boston’s Logan airport. They had chosen the planes that were heading west instead of east because they would be loaded with fuel. The first two planes had hit their targets of The Twin Towers in New York City, the first one crashed at 8:46 am in the North side and the second one crashed at 9:03 am into the South side. But the third one had crashed at 9:38 am into the Pentagon and the last one crashed at 10:10 am into Pennsylvania. But when 10:28 am came the World Trade Center North tower had fell down. This impact that happen left a burning hole near the 80th floor of this Big Sky Scrapper and killing hundreds and trapping hundreds of more people in the higher floor. There were only 6 people that was was at the World Trade Center who survived. Another terrible thing that has as that there were 50,000 people who worked in those twin towers before the 9/11 had even happened. The total amount of body parts that was found after the 9/11 was 19,435. There was a month before the 9/11 President George W. Bush memo a title for “Bin Laden to strike the U.S. by saying that there was going to be a hijacking planes coming for New York City. They had planned to do this to the U.S. economy by destroying the three centers which was the pentagon, the white house, and wall street. The 9/11 destroyed a lot of things like people's jobs,families, and friends. In New York during the 9/11 6 building was affected when the twin towers had fell. Also the 9/11 wasn't the first terrorist attack that happened on the World Trade Center, but back in February of 1993 there was a bombing that killed 6
