At 7:59 a.m. American Airlines Flight 11, a Boeing 767 takes off from Boston’s Logan International Airport with ninety-two people on board heading toward Los Angeles. Then, just twenty minutes later at 8:19 am flight attendants on Flight 11 inform American Airlines, who informs the FBI that the plan has been hijacked. All forty passengers and crewmembers are immediately killed. One hundred two minutes after being struck by Flight 11, the World Trade Center’s North Tower falls straight to the ground, going floor by floor, at 10:28 am. Lower Manhattan is covered in ash, smoke, paper, and even body parts. At 11:00 am, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani enforces an evacuation on Lower Manhattan. After burning for hours, the Seven World Trade Centers collapses at 5:20 pm. For the rest of the day and much longer after that, people continue to search for their loved ones among the ruble. Firemen work hard to repair the damage and try to find and save anyone that could be lost among the ashes. Finally, at 8:30 pm President George W. Bush addressed the nation. He called the attacks “evil, despicable acts of terror,” and reassured everyone by declaring that America, its allies, and its friends would “stand together to win the war against terrorism,” (9/11: Timeline of Events, N.P.). Osama Bin Laden may have felt like he had won that day, but what he did not realize, is that he helped America grow

The conflict of George bush being involved in 9/11 can be solved by either George bush being taken to prison because of a confession, enough evidence comes out that he gets taken to court, or al Qaeda admits that it was planned by George bush. While the twin tower attacks were going on, George bush was reading a book to second graders. Suddenly, one of the secret servicemen came and whispered something in his ear. He continued to read. The secret servicemen had said something about the attack when the first tower was hit, then he whispered again when the second tower was hit, he continued to read.…

In October 2001, just one month after the tragic September 11 attacks on the twin towers, Prime Minister Jean Chrétien pledged to support the United States. It was announced that Canada would join a UN-approved NATO coalition attack in Afghanistan (in order to support the United States). The purpose of this was to find and neutralize al-Qaeda which was a global militant Islamist organization. In addition, the main goal was to track and hunt down Osama Bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, since the Taliban government refused to reveal Bin Laden’s hiding place. A research paper was given as assignment in my English class. This research activity weights a good percentage of the final grade. Although I have done research papers for previous classes, this project has become special for me because I’m trying to demonstrate to myself how well prepared I am, and also it’s the opportunity to show the abilities attained in previous courses during my time in BCC. Certainly I have to admit that due to all information that I have to compile, this research activity has become like a nightmare for me, but I will put all my effort to contradictorilymake of this paper one of the best papers I ever made. My home room teacher was right, I didn't know the degree of the event happening right in front of me, and to this day I remember. The Islamic extremist killed many of our citizens by this attack and hurt all of our security as this was the first attack on American soil since it was claimed.…

One day we had two of the busiest centers in the United State. two buildings that provided jobs for over 50,000 workers, from financial investments experts, insurance brokers, and bankers, to sale associates, concierge, and janitors. Those two buildings provided countless services to the community, and to the world since day one, even before it was open, “More than 10,000 workers were involved in building the World Trade Center complex” (“World Trade Center”, Par.1).
