9/11 Reflection Paper

The 9/11 crisis has changed the nation forever, those who were around during the time of this catastrophe will never forget. It has changed the many people’s life forever, some may have lost a family member or friend and they will always remember what took their loved one away. 4 planes were sent out as a suicide mission to crash into three different locations; one into the North tower of the World trade center the second plane into the South tower, one plane to the Pentagon, and the last one was aimed for the White House, but because of the heroic act of many on flight 93 the plane ended up crashing in a field in Pennsylvania. 9 /11 happened on September 11, 2001; it was a terrorist act launched by Al Qaeda, as a result it killed over 3,000 people, considering so many people lost someone they loved on this day everyone’s reaction was different. By the time I was born the idea of terrorism was a bit more common and imperceptibly more everyday. So for me learning about 9/11 wasn’t too shocking, I do feel that it was so wrong and unfair, then again my feelings can 't go any deeper because I was born into the world where the biggest terrorism event already happened. People had already been shocked and to some there can not be anything else in the world that can make them feel as awful as 9/11 did. I can 't say that there won 't be a terrorist act in the future, no one can tell what the future holds and that it won’t change my feelings but I hope that it doesn’t get to that point. This assignment helped me have a better understanding, it showed me what 9/11 was really like and gave me a story from a real person who has been through the real
