Movie Essay

The purpose of the movie was to learn about how life was back then with gods and kings. Who ruled places or how they did. We also learned about how people had wars back then in 500 B.C. And how many wives a god or king could have . This movie was about Christian's , Muslim's and a little bit of Koreans . The only problem I had with the film was that people really don't know all of what these people did back in the day. They just base it off statistics . They didn't live back then and know what the gods or kings said . They don't know what they actually did back then.

The God of Muslim believed in Muhammad. Muhammad was an Ancient Greek God who led tribes and faithful battles to keep his tribes alive. Muhammad was Muslim.

Muslims practice everything that has been around the Islamic world and palace. People all around Islam are praying at a temple or they pray at home. If they don't pray they get chastised or very rough punishment. If people steal stuff from stores or people, the person who stole will get their arms or fingers chopped off. So they won't ever steal again. But all the beautiful palaces in Islam with gold shavings and chandeliers are very beautiful and built by man.

Muslims always had innovations. Innovations are new ideas brought upon the people of their tribe . They had an innovation over paper but not much paper was made. It's was very rare around Islam . Paper was then used widely over the world before the Muslims. A list of things that the Muslim came up with like water purification. Where they would boil the water so they would have nice fresh clean water. Where it wasn't dirty and didn't have no diseases. They also made up cataract surgery . Cataract is stuff that grows around yours eyes and it could possible make you blind. But they found a way to solve it. Surgeons would take a hallow needle and would gently poke the person eye and suck the cataract out their

It’s rare to find a film that makes you sit in awe ten minutes after it’s over, but that’s the state you would’ve found me in after “Short Term 12” had ended. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a drama film that I, and many others I’m sure, could relate to. It covered real-life situations and lessons that viewers could, not only understand, but also learn from and take away meaningful guidance. I definitely turned off Netflix with a feeling of warmth and content. Overall, I found the film to be realistic, relatable, and so enjoyable to watch.…

The concept of God in the religions of the ancient Hebrews, early Christians and Muslims have many similarities but also many differences. All three of these religions believe that one God is the creator of all that exist, in life after death death, and that divine acts earn humankind their ticket into heaven however each religion approach these concepts differently. One similarity I noticed when reading about these three religions is they all are monotheistic religions which mean they all believed in only one god. Though they all believe in one God but they have different concepts of their God’s. The ancient Hebrews call their called Yahweh and according to the Hebrew scriptures they did not believed in converting others into their sacred…

In the city of Mecca, a man started a new religion known as Islam. This man was Muhammad who was born in about 570 C.E. As he prayed in a cave in the mountains of Mecca in the year 670, he was visited by the angel Gabriel. Further, this angel proclaimed that Muhammad was a prophet, or messenger of God. In this regard, it shares some beliefs with Judaism and Christianity by tracing its history back to the patriarch Abraham, and ultimately to the first prophet, Adam. All the prophets preached the same universal message of belief in one God and kindness to humanity. The last in the series of prophets, according to Muslims, was Muhammad. When I wasn’t sure whether to go watch the movie ‘Central Intelligence’, I decided to look up and read a few reviews on it. Movie reviews cause two reactions either it motivate one to go watch the film or it makes us not want to watch a single second of the movie. As I looked through the multiple reviews of the film, I ran into the same problem as always: Which movie review should I listen to? I always find it hard to decide if I should listen to a newspaper article or if I should listen to the blog. These are two completely different genres that have the same purpose but have a different style, tone, and diction.…

This premise is also reinforced by another remark again found in Islamic Art &Architecture which states “Islam was revealed to the prophet Muhamad in western Arabia in the early 7th Century. Later historiography defined this period as a “time of ignorance” (the Jahiliya), in the primary sense a spiritually unenlightened period, but also as a time of relatively limited cultural achievement.” (35). Some would say that this point set in stone for the next several thousand years the inability to further study and develop the Muslim artistic lineage, thus stunting their societal growth and progression of modern ideas and technologies that would later generate in Western and Asiatic civilization. The European, Mediterranean, and Asiatic world continued to move forward with the artistic process which would lead to the industrial revolution, which would lay the foundation for the western world and Asia…
