America’s Influence on September 11, 2001 On September 11, 2001 the United States was the victim of one of the world’s largest terror attacks. Shortly thereafter the terror group, al Qaeda took responsibility for the attack. 2,977 people were killed on this day (September 11th Fast Facts). Many of the facts that came out after the attacks didn’t match up causing many people to be skeptical about the role America played in the attack. There is no denying that the U.S. played a crucial part in the plotting and carrying out the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. There are many conspiracy theories and stories that go completely against the Commission Reports the United States released, for example the fact that the U.S. Air Force didn’t intercept the planes before they crashed into the towers. The amateur pilot had to do a very risky and difficult move with commercial plane in order to head for and strike the pentagon. It took whoever the pilot was a little under an hour and a half to shut off the tracking device, turn the plane towards the Pentagon and crash into it, no new pilot would be able to persecute such a daunting task(One in seven believe U.S. government staged the 9/11 attacks in conspiracy). At that scene of the crash in the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania out of the debris left in the field, there was no way to tell if it was a plane that crashed or if it was something else. The only way a plane could completely be destroyed without any way of being able to tell that it was a plane prior to crashes or exploding is if a dissolvable missile was launched from the ground into the plane, causing it to completely incinerate the people inside and almost disintegrate the plane itself (One in seven believe U.S. government staged the 9/11 attacks in
