Part of the theory was a terrorist attack that occurred before 9/11. In 1993, the first attempt to attack the World Trade Center. Reports showed that this was an attempt by the Al Queada which resulted in the death up to 5 and injured thousands. Then the same attempt happened in 2001, which was considered a successful attempt from Al Queada. The paranoid style theory strongly suggests that less legitimate and less regulated media sources, such as tabloids, internet blogs, and radio talk shows, play a prominent role in creating conspiracy beliefs (2007). Snowden was a NSA spy for the United States, once noticing the trend relating to the attacks of 9/11, Snowden decided to leak classified information through Wikileaks.com. With the combination of the spillage of classified information, video producers decided to air a special documentaries relating to 9/11. As a result of Sept. 11, and subsequent scandals, the U.S. intelligence community has become far more open internally than it used to be, and has introduced new technologies aimed at making it easier for analysts to post, change and exchange information, and to organize internal material in easy-to-find ways (Farrell).
