9/11 Attack Narrative Essay

It was a bright, sunny morning as sadness and terror filled the air in New York. It was the day after the 9/11 attacks and rescue officer Steve and his dog Michal were just starting their effort to rescue people trapped in the rubble. Meanwhile, a family in Staten Island worried about their mother and wife. They were a family of a mother, Jenna, dad, Joe, and son, Bo. Jenna was away on business during the attacks. They hadn't heard from her since the attacks. They desperately wanted contact with their mother and wife. Back at the scene, Steve and Michel were rescuing people they found in the debris of the Twin Towers. "Good job Michal, that’s 32 saves in an hour," Steve sated as if he was exhausted. While they were driving, it was discovered that this was no accident, but a horrible terrorist attack. As this information spread, the father and son got even more nerves. They were trying their best not to panic, but as time passed without any communication and more details were released the sense of urgency to get there was almost unbearable. As they got closer to the city, emergency crews were everywhere. Their hearts were pounding as they were choking back tears, the relation that she could hurt was hitting them.
Once they arrived in the city, Joe told Bo that because of all the barricades, they would have to walk. They began walking toward the building that Jenna was working at. The closer they got they could tell that the building was reused to ruble, Bo began to cry. Joe ran up to one of the officers and began explaining the situation, the office comforted him. Then he spoke into his radio Jenna's discerption. There was silence, suddenly a voice replied, "Michal and I found
