Plop!

The wet sand fell into place as Shelbie dropped it. We were making a sandcastle. She walked back towards the ever-crashing waves. The tide were calming and made me think about all the fun times Shelbie and I had doing things.

"Is this enough?" Shelbie yelled. She smiled radiantly as I smiled and nodded. She jogged back over to ma and our small sandcastle. Sitting down, she plopped more sand onto our deformed sandcastle. It almost looked like a mountain, but all of the seashells really felt like the beach.

"This is the best sandcastle ever." I smiled, as we molded our hands into the sand. It was becoming more of a slumpy mound of seashells, sand, and tiny pebbles of rock.

Also at this beach I saw different shaped and sizes of shells pebbles and rocks. The biggest shell I saw was a about the size of my hand the rocks were there size of tiny sand grains to big as about 3 feet. I also notice the water contains sediments (other than sand).…

The sand had a fine texture, like sugar, but lacked the cool wetness exclusively found in the sand of beaches - which I find far more pleasant. As if to add salt to the wound, a bright, shining gleam bounced off the flat, tranquil sand directly into my eyes, dazzling me. As I adjusted my position to alleviate this problem, I continued to pant to sooth my scorched tongue and ease dehydration. Yet again, the weak breeze goes about its life in mysterious ways, leaving the sand untouched, as it wafts the scent of nothing (Which is very hard to describe as it is not encountered often.) and softly whistles, further accentuating…

As Kelly stepped out of her claustrophobic car onto the expansive beach in front of her and was taken aback by the blinding tangerine - coloured sun rising from center of the horizon like a kite making its way to the top of the sky. In the distant pastel coloured sky , seagulls croaked and swooped down determined to catch their unsuspecting prey. Microscopic boats were perched on the shore lingering for people to ride on. Rows of bright freshly - painted beach huts stood proudly side by side like floats in a parade. The never ending golden sand stretched out as far as she could distinguish , waiting patiently for people to leave their mark , a memory imprinted into the sand.…

Roadtrip To Miami Staying your whole life in one place is pretty boring, my very first road trip was about a year ago the first of August. I remember it was a week before school started. We traveled from Kansas City Mo all the way to Miami, I went to Miami with my family which were my mom, dad, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandma, grandpa and my boyfriend traveled with us as well. The reason for the whole trip idea was because my grandma and grandpa were going to the Miami airport to go visit their homeland Cuba, so we all decided to go as a family and spend two weeks there. Miami was a lot of fun even though we didn't do very much exciting things.…
