This year for math I will be doing Algebra 1 on Khan Academy. I did 8th grade math on Khan Academy and I liked using it so I decided to use it again. Last year I decided to do 8th grade math instead of doing pre algebra because 8th grade had more variety including geometry which we thought would be good for me. I am looking forward to doing algebra because that is a strong suit for me so it should be a little bit easier than last year. I like algebra because I am finding X and I get a specific answer and there are rules that the equation follows. I plan to continue meeting with Jessi and using her as a resource. I also plan to be getting a tutor from Laurence for my harder questions. The standards that I hope to cover this year are;

    Many people think that math is a hard subject and that it is complicated, especially trigonometry but to be honest trigonometry is my best subject. I enjoy doing trigonometry more than I enjoy doing ENC 1101. Trigonometry is easier to understand. I think trigonometry is better than ENC 1101 because we use math in our everyday life and I have a teacher physically in front of me. Personally, I think that trigonometry is superior to ENC 1101.…

Additionally, California Hospital Medical Center offers a variety of services, and it is close to my college. Getting to California Hospital Medical Center will not take long, and I can get there by public transportation.…

    On the internet, there is a "meme" called the Asian grading system. Though amusing, it reveals some of the pressures that Asian Americans often face growing up with overbearing parents. Students without parents to push them struggle to catch up in the competitiveness environment that exists in high schools across America. I'm a victim of the race to perfection, academic excellence and the pressures of failure and shortcomings. I'm not the only one and I won't be the last.…

    Junior year I decided to simultaneously take AP biology and anatomy, which was difficult at times because both subjects heavily provide a lot of information. Overall, I looked forward towards learning about the human body because I genuinely wanted to know how the body works together to support itself. One notable challenge I had in anatomy was constantly taking assessments based off of the articles and what we learned. The class itself was fast-paced, which pushed me to devote more time towards studying and testing myself, allowing me to retain more information and prepare for tests. Of course that class changed me by causing me to develop studying habits whether if it was using quizlet and reviewing my notes, to watching YouTube lectures…
