8 mile is about a wannabe rapper named Jimmy “ B Rabbit “ Smith Jr. Jimmy has friends that support him when he does rap battles and tries too get record deals and takes place in 1992. His friends Cheddar Bob, Sol George, DJ Iz, and Future support B Rabbit on his rap destiny. Along the way B Rabbit faces some hurdles, such as choking during a rap battle or when he finds his girlfriend was “having fun” with a friend. I think that the movie is very accurate to real life. In the movie they have Jimmy taking the bus a lot because his car broke down.
