When I first walk into Pine Meadow Elementary School at 8:30, Mr. Percuoco greets me with a “good morning” and the 21 6 to 7 year old children say “hi”. Mr. Percuoco is the only teacher in the room throughout the morning. The classroom is full of posters on the walls that have written rules, numbers, digraphs, and colors on them to help the children remember. Also on the wall, are jobs kids are assigned to. Mr. Percuoco has a paper ladder that has steps that leads to being above the zone.…
Susan and family assistant visited families of the children twice a year to help them with issues like finding housing or ESL classes etc. Classroom number six was a special class and not a head start class during the audit years. They had five integrated and one special class during the audit years. School did not provide related services to the children.…

During the first half of the semester for ENC 1102, I believe that my writing skills have improved from ENC 1101; some of which are getting to page length, correctly citing a source, and incorporating how a quote is related to my argument. I still have some errors within my writing that I have not quite figured out how to tackle. Some concepts that I have not gotten down to a tee must be coming up with a thesis statement, basic grammar errors, introducing quotations, and repetition. I have also learned how to distinguish the difference between a personal essay and an argumentative essay with first hand on the two types and how why my grade differed from essay one and two.…
6. Honestly I am beginning to see an improvement in my writing. Overtime I have made less mistakes in my writing as well as understand my assignments. Therefore these changes allow me to construct stronger sentences and that is when the skills I learned manifest in my writing.…
1. Mrs. Carroll decided that day to begin ISTEP preparation with the students, using an audio book on the computer and a booklet for the students to study. The text that all the students listened to was Rikki Tikki Tavi by Rudyard Kipling, a short classic story that I thought was excellent for seventh graders to easily follow along and prepare them for ISTEP. I was sitting next to another student who has an IEP…
The bell rings again and the day begins. A few class periods go by before any teachers spark up a conversation. By 3rd period the teachers are talking. Mrs. Flo, Mrs. Beth, Mr. Green, Mr. Mathew, Coach Kenny, and Miss Morre all are down the same hall, and we know that these groups don’t mix. Mrs. Beth had paid Mr. Green to grade some of her papers from a few weeks ago, as Mr. Green was returning the papers for an exchange of $35.…
Throughout this whole quarter, I would say that I have learned a lot in this class. Not only that I learned what is in the syllabus but also the importance of being able to apply my understandings on a problem. I believe that the instructor did a great job in addressing the learning outcomes in this class by helping us in understanding the concepts that we need to learn in order complete this course. One of the learning outcomes of this course is that each students should be able to describe, interpret and predict the propagation of energy via waves, using applied conservation of energy principles. Before this class, I have learned about the law of conservation of energy in PHYS221 with Micheal Greiner.…
2016, my first full year with the customer in my new role, has been a productive one in terms of accomplishing goals at Wakefern. I’ve demonstrated growth in many areas, including winning with the customer, innovation, and driving results. These three areas were a focus of mine in 2016, and I believe I’ve executed with excellence against these priorities. I’ve had my biggest win of 2016 with Fruit Snacks at Wakefern. The removal of the Disney licenses created a challenge at Wakefern because of the amount of SKU’s currently in distribution.…
When I considered taking WRTG 101 this semester I was unsure how much it would affect my writing style. I have always had issues with the strength of my writing and my overall writing style. Whether it was run on sentences, proper citations, an overall passive writing style, or proper use of pronouns my writing style needed a tune up. After taking this class I have an improved overall understanding of the writing process and how to apply it in different writing situations. Run on Sentences were a concern before I took the class, however now I have a much better understanding of proper sentence structures.…

I was suspended from UCSD by academic disqualification.…
4.7 I think that the strategeis used amongst all different populations of kids is pretty consistent. I think that when a teacher acknowledges the differences in children it allows them to become close and bond. If a teacher and student don't have this relationship i think it can make things very difficult. Teachers help all sorts of students meet their goals and academic needs by giving them confindence and a chance. All students need to be treated equally and given the sam oppurtinites no matter the circumstances.…
Over the summer, I had the unique opportunity to be a volunteer sidewalker and leadwalker at a Therapeutic Riding Center called Partners for Progress. There, I engaged with kids who had physical and cognitive disabilities find confidence and independence through riding specially-trained horses. The experience taught me that instilling inspiration into the minds of kids does truly make a difference. I decided to bring this mindset to one of my other passions: computer science. I created and led a coding event at a local library to get elementary-school kids excited about computer science.…
The concepts delivered throughout the management problem-solving course have provided me with valuable simulated real-life experiences which can be applied in my everyday work life as a HR Administrator with aspirations of progressing my career. The course delivery was such that as a student, I was able to use my existing knowledge and skills, in addition to that of my peers, to analyse and explore complex organisational problems. This course has challenged the way I think and deepened my understanding of the problem-solving process, which has enabled me to perceive issues from new perspectives, I once would not have considered. Additionally, it has also allowed me to make explicit and authentic connections between the course content and my…
