So then I was like, “Great, a team that’s good and we never play good in the mornings, this is gonna end well!”

No matter what happened we were going to have fun because it was our last time with the amazing coach we had and the last time we would see each other till high school. Being on ESPN made us anxious, but when we started to win one game after another, it took off some of the weight we felt. It was a great day for baseball, the sun was shining, it had the cool breeze of early summer, and the scent of freshly mowed grass was still lingering in the air. The park was packed with fans who had traveled from all over the country to see one of sport’s greatest spectacles. Some weren’t even fans of any teams but just wanted to be in attendance and witness the greatness of the event. We won that game because of all the hard work we put into trying to win that game. And even though we were down 5 points at one time, the team and I did not let that bother us so we came back and won. To this day I haven't hit a home run since because of the difficulty for me to do it, but, I always remember, Put the ball in play and good things will happen. It's my motto to this day and I keep my home run ball on my dresser to in fact prove, that I can achieve that goal if I set my mind to…

Injury When I was at my sister’s softball game, I was playing football during my baseball season, but it was an off day, so I didn’t have to do any baseball that day. I was playing with some 7th graders as their sisters were playing and they were throwing it high and far. While I was playing 500 with a wet NERF football and when I caught the football my wrist had a strange feeling. So, I kept playing on (not the smartest idea). It would hurt when I tried to catch it…
