7th Undergraduate Symposium: Dream
The last session of the conference was focused on the concept of dreams, like the rest of it. The listeners got to listen to four speakers, who were all students. The first speaker talked about Life is Elsewhere by Milan Kundera and how it uses dreams. The second speaker's book of choise was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. They chose to approache dreams in a more spiritual way. The third one was The Secret Life of Walter Mitty by James Thurber. The speech managed to connect daydreaming with the conscious mind. The last speaker's book was The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, which is a personal favourite of mine.
