The 75th anniversary of the ageds 450 farm is a celebration of the past 75 historic years of the farm. This celebration should bring back memories of both good and perhaps some bad memories of things that the farm experienced. Some of objectives and purpose of the 75th anniversary of the farm includes providing a place where past students of the ageds 450 class can look back and reflect on all the memories they experienced while they were at Iowa State University. Another objective of the anniversary is to try to find a solution to help promote the idea of having sponsors donate money for the new classroom and shop that we would like to be built in the near future. This is an important task and will require attention to detail when trying to have some of the donor’s ears perk up when we are discussing the plans of the new construction north of the current shop. I think I can apply what I have learned from the 75th anniversary in my career for a variety of reasons. Planning a celebration of a business like a farm requires a lot of time and attention to detail. I think we as a class witnessed this first hand. If one committee is in charge of the whole celebration things will …show more content…
I think we have a good foundation of what we would like to take place at the 75th anniversary. I know that when the spring comes around the timetable before the celebration only gets smaller. I think several years down the road future classes can evaluate our 75th anniversary in hopes of planning a 100th anniversary of the farm when that time comes. This is a learning experience for most of us now and should be something future classes can look back on and make recommendations of what they would like to have different if they were in charge. If I learned one thing in life it is that not everyone will agree with your ideas or promotion so it should be something that future classes can

Introduction and Overview For several years, the FFA has been thought of by many as the “Future Farmers of America.” While farming may have been the fundamentals of this organization, it has evolved into so much more. Therefore, the idea that FFA is merely a farming organization can be exceedingly misleading to those who have little experience or knowledge of this organization. Contrary to popular belief, FFA’s sole purpose is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their leadership skills, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. The National FFA consists of 649,355 members, from 7,859 chapters in all 50 states.…
