1. List the (7) Trumpet Judgments - The events that occur when the trumpets are blown are supernatural, exclusively caused by God. The blowing of the final three Trumpets are more severe than the blowing of the first four, because these are labored “The Three Woes.” This is the first contingency we see of an intense warning given, as to the severity of the coming judgments. Demonic Attack- the Fifth Trumpet – Rev. 9:1-11- When this Trumpet is sounded, it signals the first of the three “woes” that are pronounced. Rev. 8:13 “As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: ‘Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!” This event is a supernatural experience. (Rev. 9:1) “The fifth trumpet sounded by an angel, and I saw what appears a star, falling from the firmament to the earth. The star like object was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss.” However, verse two shows this star was an angel that received a key to unlock the bottomless pit. “When he opened the Abyss, smoke emerged from it as smoke from a gargantuan furnace. There were a large horde of demons and they all received a very special objective to execute. “And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power (Rev 9:3). (Rev. 9:16 (NIV): “The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number,” John uttered. This says that the number of troops that the four angels commanded was 200,000,000. These are not human troops, but rather demons led by demons. They are supernatural beings that have an uncanny effect on the earth and the inhabitants of the earth. The saddest fact is that after all of this miraculous activity, the transgressor still did not
