Climate change has hit the Orange-spotted Filefish, Quiver Trees, Polar bear, Adelie Penguin, North Atlantic Cod, Acropora Cervicornis and Coral worldwide, and the Golden Toad which is already extinct, extremely hard. They reside in coral reefs, with that being said, not only is the Orange-spotted filefish at very high risk due to climate change, but the coral reef is as well due to the warm waters in the ocean. Another example is Quiver tree. According to the article, the tree is unable to grow fast enough to keep up with all of the changes. Scholes said in chapter Four of the fifth IPCC report “that trees are the most vulnerable to rapid change.” The third example is the Polar Bears. The article states that sea ice is forming later in the fall and melting in early spring. Chief scientist for Polar Bears International, Steven Armstrup said, “As the Arctic sea ice retreats, polar bears have to exploit alternative food sources, such as on land.
