Sean Covey’s book 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens was written to inform teens about helpful habits. The habits will help you in life if you need help as a teen.I have learned many things in this book that have helped me in a way. It has taught me not to just give up. It has also taught me that I shouldn’t try to please everyone. I have also learned that not everyone is the friend you think they are.
The first habit to the book is Be Proactive. Being proactive means to you don’t react negative. Whenever you are disappointed you shouldn’t yell and freak out, you should calm down and just soak it in. If you are playing a game and something bad happens don’t get mad just calm down and think about what you can do to fix it. I have learned that

It means set out a goal before you just go out and do something. Another way to think about it is you can’t just build a house with no plan, you need a blueprint. That is what this habit is about. You need a blueprint for life. You have to think through your actions and not just jump into it.This habit has helped me in many ways, but here is just a few. Not bringing my good fishing stuff across the street to play with little kids, I also learned not to take all of by shot gun shells to go hunt because I will probably shoot all of them just messing around, the last thing is not to skid on my bike tires because they wear down really quick and I would have to go by new tires and tubes for the wheels. This habit is supposed to show you that some things are more important than others. It is supposed to help you prioritize your schedule. Your schedule should be your most important stuff first then the stuff that isn’t that important. I used to put of school work to go hang out with my friends. When my grades started slipping and I read this habit it helped. It helped me by showing I can do anything I want as long as I try hard enough. I started to work on my school work and turn down invitations to go to my friends until I finished my work. When I finished my work then I would hang out with my friends and work with my Papa. I would recommend this habit to many of my friends to read.
The fourth is Think Win-Win. This habit means to think positive all of the time. It also is supposed to help you not just give up. By give up it means not to just give everyone something they ask for that you have. This habit has helped me alot. I used to just give everyone food if they asked for it. Since I read this habit I stopped giving them so much food. The habit is also helping.I would recommend this habit to people that to people that are feeling down about themselves and

Habits can be as simple as how we order our meals, how often we exercise or even what we say to our children each night. It is essential to understand how our brain stores different functions, how habits emerge and how the Habit Loop works within our brain.…
