7 Habits Of Highly Effective People Essay

This model is ascribed to former US President Eisenhower and was further developed by Steven Covey, the writer of the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It includes two axes: importance axis and urgency axis. You have got four quadrants total that each suggests the right attitude to the task.
Now, let me explain and exemplify each one of the 4 quadrants on how it relates to your life.

Quadrant 4: Not Important and Not Urgent
Those missions and activities are neither important nor urgent. Those moments are considered time wasters and unnecessary. After we do them, we think to ourselves: I could have done something more useful with this time.
Examples for things that included in this quadrant are logging into Facebook a few times per day, watching videos a friend has sent me in the email, watching TV and so fourth. (I would like to point out that I'm not against rest, and resting deserves it place in our day. But let's admit the truth, staring at the TV in not an effective relaxation and you would better use this time to rest in bed for 20 minutes)

Those tasks usually demand an immediate response, but if they were up to you, you would choose not to do them now.
For example, these include situation in which a co-worker is standing on your office doorstep and asks to talk immediately. You must respond and possibly speak urgently with him, but this task is not very important to you. The same goes for "please respond now" emails, and arrangements we must do quickly such as go to the bank's branch, pay impending dues, or any activity that demands response according to someone else’s timetable.
Indeed, paying my dues until the 1st of the month is an urgent activity that I NEED to do, but… if it was up to
