You’re standing in a hallway filled with 7-8 graders. Every single one of them is rushing to get to their classes when the bell rings, you thought 6-8 graders would be separated by schedules, you guessed wrong. Adults and pupils are debating whether 6th grade should be in middle school or should not be in middle school. A few articles states good reasons why 6th grade should be in middle school and why it shouldn’t. For example, 6th graders would share the same bus as high schoolers.

In an article, it states that studies show 6th graders are doing worse on standardized tests in middle school than in elementary school. Although 6th graders are role models to the undergraduate in elementary school, 7-8 graders are not a good role
