The six nutrients are water, protein,carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, and minerals. Water is an important nutrient because it dissolves and carries nutrients and remove waist and regulates body temperature. Most Americans drink two and a half cups of water a day. Protein builds new tissue and antibodies, enzymes, hormones, and other compounds. If you eat a lot of meat each day most meat has lots of protein in it so that would be good for you to eat. Carbohydrates provide energy for our every day events, something that has a lot of carbohydrates in it is cereals, crackers, and many other things like that. Fats, fats provide long term energy, insulation and protection for your body. I learned that avocados have lots of fats in them and are really healthy for you another thing with fats in it is cheese and dark chocolate. Vitamins facilitates use …show more content…
One of the things I should start to do to get in better shape is to start walking or to do something that I would exercise in. This could be like a sport like I really wish our school had a soccer team, this soccer team would help me get in to better shape. Another thing I could start doing is to eat less fat foods, which will be hard because I like to eat lots of different types of meat. Another thing I could do is start eating healthier things instead of junk food, I like to eat a lot of chips. My exercise is very limited it is mostly me walking to different things. I should be exercising a lot more then I am getting. I could do crunches each morning before I get ready to school doing this I will be exercising my abs. I could also run while I wait for my dog to use the restroom in the morning. I could also do some push ups each night before bed. These things will and should help me become better fit for many activities I would like to be in and will help me with the activities I am already
