5th Sundays Case Study

Decent Essays
Hello Dec. Mayweather and Deacon Wooten,

I would like to increase Kingdom Kids church participation on 5th Sundays. I proposed that one of our older children would give an 3 minute overview of what they have learned in Kingdom Kids since the last 5th Sunday. I would like for a younger child to give the welcome. I would also like for one of the children to bless the offering.

I would love to partner with the Usher board and deacon board to establish kingdom kids ushers and Junior Deacons. The kids had been used for devotional services for all of last year in kingdom kids. The devotional before the preach word in kingdom kids includes prayer, scripture reading and overview of Sunday School. We have several children ready and are working on others. If you are in agreement with this proposal, I would like for each of your assistance in making this come to life. I would need to meet with Minister Johnny Johnson and whomever is over the deacon board.

Lastly, I want to make you all aware that Sister Delphine Baldon and Sister Natalie Hart has agreed to be assistant directors for kingdom kids. Sister Delphine is 1st assistant director and Sister Natalie Hart is 2nd assistant director. They are in charge in my absents. Bridgette and I have always used them like our right hand ladies but now we are trying to make it official. These positions would

There are things that we are currently trying to put in motion now that will enhance our children experience, learning and walk in Christ. (i.e. Tutorial

The pastor should visit her family and spend time all the children and not just with her parents. Playing games with the younger ones, and talking with Keisha and her siblings about what interests them will send the message that the pastor cares about them. One way to directly connect with Keisha would be to text her after she plays the piano at church and let her know that her ministry blessed the pastor and his wife. This sends a clear message of affirmation and that her contribution was important and noticed. Inviting Keisha and a couple of her friends over to the pastor’s house to make cookies with his wife or to ride horses with the pastor’s family can leave a strong impression on adolescent minds.…

This semester, I was chosen to be an intern at Joy Agency. Joy Agency is an early child intervention; therefore they assist children under three years old. Joy Agency offers many services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nutrition service, social work services, and other amazing assistances. During my orientation I was able to learn interesting facts about the agency and how employees work effectively to help these children in need. In fact, there is more to it than just enrolling a child in this program; it requires several steps before a child is determined eligible to receive any type of service.…

In order to have effective instruction, it is crucial that teachers have an understanding of child development. Throughout their years in school, children experience a myriad of social, emotional, and behavioral changes. Teachers should implement research based strategies in order to develop a caring learning environment so these changes can take place alongside learning. In the case study “Another Typical Day,” Mrs. Arling must ensure her students are making academic progress; however, she still must attend to the social and emotional needs of her student. Countless studies show that the most effective way to provide instruction is to introduce it in a concrete way; once students have an understanding, only then can they understand it pictorially.…

Colm I would appreciate your reviewing the following email draft that I wrote to Tiago. I think it would be wonderful to have Tiago on board part time at G4G. I think he can help to get great things accomplished, fundraise, and make the board Chair's job easier so I would feel better about either staying on or someone taking over from me. I think that we need a G4G evangelist and Tiago seems like an ideal candidate. In fact, he is the more qualified energetic person I can think of who might be available and interested. Let me know if you have suggestions for improving my draft.…

Through emailing, Dave was able to give me direction for finishing the draft of the TEAM Manual. It was decided to do a combined TEAM Manual like the Quick Start Manual. I worked to complete the draft, which mainly consisted over going over the youth and children information and working to level the activities as most appropriate for children, youth, or both. I also worked developing some questions for meeting with children’s ministry leaders to go over with Dave when we meet later in the work. 3.…

Early years of childhood have widely been recognised as the most important years of learning and development. “Research have shown the importance of these years to learn and acquire new skills” (DEECD, 2010), which have assigned a great responsibility to the educators working with the young children. As an early childhood educator, I feel that it is my responsibility to provide the high quality learning environment for the young children to learn, acquire and develop social, emotional, academic and technological skills. The following paper contains my philosophy statement, which includes my values and professional knowledge in relation to children, teaching and learning in early childhood education.
