5S Priciple For a Kitchen
Introduction:
In this project, we used the 5S lean manufacturing tool to improve workplace efficiency and eliminate wastes of a chaotic kitchen. Our project process is carried out in accordance with sort, set in order , shine, standardize, and sustain. In the process of this project, we encountered some problems. We provided solutions after discussion and analysis from the perspective of improving kitchen cleaning efficiency and reducing kitchen wastes.
Apply 5S methodology to a kitchen:
Before cleaning the kitchen, we need to figure out how each part of the 5S principles is able to best applied to a workplace like a kitchen. We also need to think about what we need to do in each part of the 5S system to clean a kitchen, and of course the benefits of doing so.

We believe that we should do without being told, and a strong self-discipline is not harmful to anyone. We will perform regular inspection to maintain kitchen items are in a proper order. Also, we will ensure that all defined standards are being implemented. Last but not least, we will follow the process, but also be open-minded to make further improvement.

Steps:
Step 1 - Take the food, drinks, sauce, and seasonings out of the refrigerator and closet. Check the expiration date, threw away all bad items.

Step 2 - Sort the dishes, tablewares, pots, cleaning utensils,food, drinks, sauce, and seasonings. Put all needed items in addition to the dirty dishes, tablewares, and pots that need to be cleaned in the correct places by category, type, size, color, and the frequency of use.

Step 3 - Use Dawn dish cleaner, metal scrap, and green dishes fabric to clean dishes, tablewares,pots, and oven.

Step 4 - Start cleaning closet

Step 5 - Clean
