In this advertisement the visual image being used is two children. One holding a piece of chocolate and one holding a gun that seems to be a classroom. The argument that’s being displayed I believe is that why should firearms be banned. The writer’s dialogue in the ad is successful in showing the argument. The fact that the writer gives the audience a choice of answering a question whether a child should have the option of protection or not brings people’s moral and opinion to this.
The strategy the writer uses in this ad is really effective he uses the two children to make the situation as if a shooter has infiltrated their school. So just like any school procedure the children have been told to go on lockdown. The two children are in their

Also if school shootings are prevented we will have more time to identify exactly who might possibly need help. By help I mean people who think about shooting their or a school or college. We will avoid the situation for a person to go to jail and instead seeking care for their needs. There is nothing wrong for asking for help when you need it, especially if you are planning to put other lives at stake We should all be on the lookout for this so events like these shootings we have been having can be prevented. The reason why is because sometimes the people who need help won’t ask for it. So if we’re not on the lookout and they don’t seek for help and it happens then we as U.S citizens should have protection. What ends shootings are the law enforcement who have a firearm. In addition, sometimes the law enforcement doesn’t arrive on time and can’t save some lives. Therefore, should firearms be banned? No, they shouldn’t and it’s silly to think so. The Government needs to end the banning of firearm laws in our country. If anything they should make laws that support it in a positive matter for protection. I know many parents would agree that protection is the most important thing for their children. So it would be logical that we’d do that for them and for us as well since children are our future in our

There have been many shootings in the past and certainly some awaiting us in the future. Some of these shootings can be prevented with a Legislative branch and some officials to approve it. For example, the Las Vegas shooting would have been less costly if Nevada had a law that limited the capacity of that individual's magazine. With a law like that, the United States can make these situations less costly to people’s lives and possibly prevent them from happening in the first place, starting with New Mexico. New Mexico should pass a law that limits an ammunition magazine capacity.…

Current methods to decrease the number of school shootings include gun control, easier access to mental health, and higher security. All of these options have merit, but fail to tackle the fundamental cause of these incidents. Gun control is a slow process because of the second amendment: the right to bear arms. Gun activist argue that it is against their rights to take guns away because they should be allowed to protect themselves. In contrast, gun control supporters suggest bans on automatic weapons and rifles since they are weapons used to kill rather than to hunt or protect.…
