Selma was played by the actress, Björk who I have known as a singer but did not know as an actress until I saw this movie. Björk did such an amazing job that I wonder if this part was written specifically for her. Her performance throughout the movie was incredibly honest. The way Selma was developed was amazing and so convincing. Not only is Björk a great actress but she is also a great singer.…

As a fan on Schumer’s standup comedy I was a little nervous that the book wasn’t going to live up to its hype but thankfully, it surpassed every expectation I had. Through her jokes and stories Schumer ended the book by using her lower back tattoo to show that she is human and she makes mistakes but then grows and learns from them. I think this is a lesson girls are not told nearly enough and I was so excited Schumer took the time to remind all of the young women (and men) reading her novel this valuable lesson. All in all I can truly say I was beyond thrilled by The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo. Between the advocacy, the humor, and the stories, I felt I became to truly know Schumer and what she stands for while simultaneously being entertained by her witty humor.…

There was another moment where she also interacted with the audience but especially the kids with the song of “Let It Go” and everyone sang along with her. It was a very entertaining moment and seeing an artist interact with fans truly shows what a great person they can be. My favorite song that she played was “Let It Go”, because of the rhythm and beat. She sings it very well and it is those kinds of songs that get stuck to your head for quite a long time because it is just very addictive.…

In the first episode of season one, the characters seem to mesh together effectively and they all give memorable first impressions. It’s significant for me to mention that the characters complemented one another in the first episode because I highly doubt that any of the actors/actresses knew each other before filming. After watching the first episode, it felt like all of the actors/actresses were childhood best friends. As the show continues and more episodes are created, an even closer bond between the characters seems to form. If you or someone you know might be interested in a television show that’s entertaining and hilarious, it might be worth it to check out New Girl.…
