Types of Rockets: During the last 50 years, people have used many rockets to go to space. There are 3 major and famous rockets that were widely used. They were Saturn V, Orbiter, and Orion that is planning for its fist launch in 2017. About 50 years ago, we will focus on the SaturnV. Unlike the Space Orbiter, and Orion, Saturn V used kerosine not solid fuels that the other 2 types use. Compared with the new Orion rocket, Saturn V lacks with thrust. Saturn V is designed to bring Astronauts to the moon or lower Earth orbit, but the Orion rocket is designed for Mars travel, eventually with the enough technology, humans will ride to Orion to mars.
