At more than two hours long, the scenes between the action sequences tend to drag and are a bit boring and no matter how old Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster get, their acting have not improved one bit. Maybe the film's biggest disappointment is Dwayne Johnson, playing the strict FBI agent trailing the main characters. He is hulking and committed but utterly blank as a character, lacking the nonchalant and fun attitudes of Dom’s crew. It is very frustrating that he’s hunting down our heroes rather than the film's actual bad guy. There are a few things that I would like to point out in Fast And Furious 5. It is definitely not concise. It isn’t intelligently written, or particularly well acted either. But as an exaggerated action movie that has the needed budget to total an entire city’s worth of cars, I can certainly say that this movie is high-octane.
