In 2013, Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel made you believe a man could fly. Now, Justin Lin’s Fast And Furious 5 will make you believe a bus can roll without injuring anyone inside, that a man can be punched through a solid brick wall and still come out the other side unscathed, and that it is possible to keep up with a train in only a muscle car. The film has absolutely no concern for realism, but then again, anyone who has watched the previous four crazy, action-filled films know that the franchise has never had much care for the laws of physics. The movie is full of total absurdity and nonstop impossible action, muscular macho guys, hot chicks and hoards of bad guys who are killed by the dozen while the leading characters escape certain death

Hiding in Rio de Janeiro after a totally dramatic prison breakout, Dom, Brian and Mia accept a job stealing valuable cars off a train moving through the desert, which doesn't go entirely as planned; although the resulting action sequence is almost embarrassingly funny. At more than two hours long, the scenes between the action sequences tend to drag and are a bit boring and no matter how old Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster get, their acting have not improved one bit. Maybe the film's biggest disappointment is Dwayne Johnson, playing the strict FBI agent trailing the main characters. He is hulking and committed but utterly blank as a character, lacking the nonchalant and fun attitudes of Dom’s crew. It is very frustrating that he’s hunting down our heroes rather than the film's actual bad guy. There are a few things that I would like to point out in Fast And Furious 5. It is definitely not concise. It isn’t intelligently written, or particularly well acted either. But as an exaggerated action movie that has the needed budget to total an entire city’s worth of cars, I can certainly say that this movie is high-octane.
