Decent Essays
The 4x2 relay is easier to run then it is to set up. At practice you need to meet up with your relay team and make sure you know who is first, second, third, and fourth. There are big triangles on your lane and there is a little triangle a little ways behind it. Start with 20 feet from the big triangle and put down a piece of tape, and then go ten feet from there and put down a second piece of tape. If other people have tape down make sure to mark it or write your name to keep track of it. When you go and stand on the first tape you set down. The runner before you will go a ways back and start running as fast as they can. Right when they hit the second piece of tape you put down take off fast. Depending on if you are the Second or fourth runner

It started out way back in June when a group of girls got together and went for a run. At that time we only ran about 3-4 miles or so, but by the middle of the cross country season we were running up to 6 miles everyday. We trained all throughout the summer increasing our mileage every week so that by the beginning of the season were were ready to race.…
