The 442nd regimental combat team were stationed in several places including france but predominantly in Italy. They are recognised for five major campaigns including Naples Foggia campaign, rome-arno campaign, Rhineland campaign-voges, Rhineland campaign-maritime Alps, northern Apennines campaign and pro-valley campaign(the422.org). All of these were in 1943 or after up until 1945. They showed great courage in italy especially with street to street combat. Also they fought in the south of France in marseille. They fought in germany in hill 140 where they killed over hundred axis troops and captured 300 axis infantry(wiki442infantry).
