The Queensland government commissioned this report to evaluate the needs of the 4034 postcode in the coming 10-15 years. The postcode of 4034 includes various suburbs such as Carseldine, Zillmere, Boondall, Geebung and Aspley. The postcode of 4034 has the total population of 20,150 people. This report will state the needs of the postcode that will be required by citizens to in the suburbs to increase the liveability of the area in the coming 10-15 years. The services that will be outlined in this report are aged care facilities; migrant services, indigenous community centre and child care services. The purpose of this report is to plan for the future to ensure that needs of residents are catered for.
The geographical size of the 4034 includes five suburbs (refer to map #1 below) thus meaning that services such as aged care facilities are essential to the wellbeing of residents in the postcode. By analysing population data, services can be included in the postcode in order to maintain the postcode. The 4034 postcode has a very high education rate as stated in figure 2
