Two year vs Four year college College is education that gives knowledge towards a specific area that students plan to study after graduating from high school. There are two year colleges and four year colleges that provide bachelor or associate degrees. Two year colleges are either vocational, technical, or community that provide students with associate degrees. Vocational colleges are shorter programs that cut straight to the point and gets students ready for the work force. These colleges are more hands on and get students ready for a specific course or trade such as agricultural and construction. Technical colleges deal more with information technology, applied sciences, engineering and agriculture. Students can get associate degrees.
