May I suggest that we simply finalize Policy 4.1 General Safe Driving Practices policy? It already has the specific suspension(s) and reinstatement privileges for driving violations. Also, 4.1 mentions the things discussed on our last safety call on pages 7-9.
1. What happens when a driver violates driving regulations; according to Company policy and legally?
2. What are the corrective measures…, possibly leading to termination
3. No call, no text, no ticket! (https://cms.fmcsa.dot.gov/driver-safety/distracted-driving)
May I also suggest that we update Policy 4.2 Distracted Driving Policy to then mention Policy 4.1 in the reference section? Also, should the driver forms and agreements be available on the intranet?
