31 WAD Call Log

There are several reasons why I believe it would be beneficial for myself to accompany Florence on the home office visit. One reason would be to have a meeting with both Technology and Business partners. This will allow the teams to identify what is currently working along with listing out opportunities in today’s process. I think establishing open communication face to face will allow more of an open environment and possibly establishing solutions to these opportunities. I witnessed this process when Home Office Technology came to Roanoke, there was a list of issues and they were solved throughout the year. From my observation some of the opportunities the team is currently facing are:

• Call logs not properly updated in a timely fashion along with more details
• An increase in working as design call logs taking away resources that should be working on true issue. I.E Total of 31 WAD call logs which

The training increased their knowledge in the corrective action process. While a few processes were discussed I would like to provide a Presentation of the Encompass Rerate Overview. Outlining the Rerate Specialist role and Rerate processing will show the corrective action functions provided by the Roanoke campus. This will provide their team with more knowledge of the corrective action process. The benefits for corrective action will make sure call logs are updated and assigned correctly resulting in quicker call log closures which reduces premium and Interest payments.
Projects continue to roll out with incorrect code which result in corrective Action. Consulting with a Project Manager and review the Project Support functions for opportunities to add better value for a successful project implementation. The results would be shared and added to Project Support documentation and

My main focus for this week was to follow-up on projects that I was previously assigned and to update the management team on my progress. I was able to follow-up with all of the remaining sites as far as their stand still with the I-9 project. While taking on this project I have noticed that a lot of sites face the same issue, which is inconsistencies within their documentation/data. This is strange due to the fact that audits have taken place. This goes to show that there is room for error even when there are audits being done.…

There were two positive and promising practices identified during the review, which will support the State’s implementation of WIOA in general, and the performance-related requirements of WIOA in particular. Positive Practice #1: The due diligence of State staff relative to implementing the changes required as a result of the 2009 comprehensive review is to be commended. The record review results for WIA and TAA yielded the fewest discrepancies ever experienced by the review team (i.e., four discrepancies in fifty records) and are demonstrative of the level of commitment and due diligence of State staff. Positive Practice #2: The utilization of data validation results to improve data integrity and inform program management is also…

Below I stated some specific challenges and how these affect the company. 1. Too many of the junior professionals did not see a long term future with Terra Nova and avoid making any financial commitment of buying shares. Although, young professionals love working at Terra Nova, they don’t want to commit to the company by investing in it. This because of several reasons as I already stated in question 1: organization structure problems, power decision making is to much partner oriented, company culture is to result focused etc.…

Inspired by the work I did at Thales, particularly on the simulation bridge program that involved video streaming, I was able to come up with an interesting idea for my Capstone project. The idea, although novel, had some potentially military applications and I thought my supervisors at Thales might systems could make investigating the idea significantly easier. As a result I sent a quick write up of my idea to Peter, who forwarded it to a number of different engineers. Based on their feedback, I further refined my project into a succinct proposal and set up a meeting with them. [b] At the meeting I provided them with a print out of my revised proposal and formally presented what…

Hi all, This is a follow up from yesterday’s meeting with the latest information on the status of the project. Firstly, I would like to bring to your attention that we have not had backend resources assigned to the project this week, outside of the agreed stabilization support initiative. It was not mentioned in yesterday’s meeting that Brian was pulled on Monday to work on ACH issues, and I was not aware at the time of our meeting since it occurred before I had time to catch up with the team. For the remainder of the week, as discussed, he is assigned to the stabilization task force.…

Due to EVM being brand new to the relationship of Franklin Electronics and Spokane Industries, there are many project management control concepts that may have been overlooked, such as: working to prevent scope creep, creating proper milestones and work breakdown structures to make clear estimations, recognizing trade-off techniques, and the learning curve necessary to implement this new practice in every day business. Controlling a project using an earned value management system (EVMS), especially in an electronic format, allows for clear progress reporting, frequent status reports, and visuals that ensure all changes necessary during a project are completed in a timely manner to secure the success of a project, or at least reduce failures.…
