The three technological advances in my opinion that were most important in this section were the telegraph, a gasoline-powered internal combustion engine, and a four-wheeled automobile. These advances made communication and traveling more efficient and easier at the time. German engineer, Nikolaus Otto, was a very important inventor of this time since he “invented a gasoline-powered internal combustion engine.” Karl Benz “received a patent for the first automobile, which had three wheels” then Gottlieb Daimler “introduced the first four four-wheeled automobile” a year later.
